The DCSEU was recently recognized in Renewable Energy Magazine for its support of DC Housing Authority efficiency projects as part of the DCSEU's partnership with Washington Gas.

Since 2012, DCHA has consulted with the DCSEU on more than 50 projects that will generate more than $13 million in lifetime energy cost savings and prevent more than 145 million pounds of lifetime CO2 emissions.
“As one of the largest owners and managers of affordable multifamily housing in the District, DCHA is setting a great example and demonstrating the positive impact of making energy-efficient upgrades in their properties,” said Ted Trabue, director of the DCSEU. “We look forward to continuing to work with them to improve the energy efficiency, health, and safety of buildings for their residents.”
