Buy a Bulb and Give Back on Giving Tuesday

Update:
DC residents gave hundreds of energy-efficient light bulbs to those in need by taking advantage of the DCSEU’s “Buy a Bulb and Give Back” holiday campaign. The LED bulb donation to So Others May Eat, a DC organization serving the District's poor and homeless, will allow residents in need to enjoy better lighting and lower energy bills, saving thousands of dollars over the life of the bulbs donated.

In its commitment to helping low-income residents save money on their energy bills, for every LED bulb purchased with the online retailers listed below, the DCSEU will donate one energy-saving LED to So Others Might Eat (SOME), a community-based organization that exists to help the District's poor and homeless. SOME will be distributing these bulbs along with holiday food baskets to their client's in need to help them save money on their energy bills.

Buy your bulbs at:

Buy between December 2 and January 1 to give yourself (and your fellow DC residents) a bright start to the New Year.
