Residential Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) Installation Training

Water Heating Technologies is a 4-hour in-person training session that helps students select water-heating equipment to meet occupant needs while focusing on efficiency and safety. The Heat Pump Water Heater class examines the various options for water-heating equipment. It emphasizes critical aspects such as efficiency, functional capabilities, limitations, and practical applications associated with each type of water heating solution. Additionally, the course will address barriers to the adoption of Heat Pump Water Heaters and discuss potential strategies to overcome them. A score of 70% on a course evaluation is required to earn a certificate of successful completion, which will be available in the Penn College student learner portal.
