Green Building 101 (In-Person)
Join Sustainable Design Consulting (SDC) for Green Building 101, a two-hour, instructor-led in-person course designed to provide an accessible introduction to sustainable building practices. Led by expert instructor Kara Strong, this course explores how buildings can minimize their environmental impact while delivering social and economic benefits.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge about the importance of green buildings and their role in sustainability and health. Through a detailed review of key concepts, benefits, and the practical significance of sustainable design, attendees will leave with the tools to confidently engage in discussions about green buildings and prepare for more advanced courses in the Train Green program.
