The DCSEU Announces New Managing Director
Washington, D.C. – The DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) announced Ben Burdick as its new Managing Director today. Burdick has been part of DCSEU for 14 years and was selected to lead the organization following a competitive recruitment process. His role as the DCSEU’s Managing Director began on April 21, 2025.
Through his leadership roles as the Director of Operations, Director of Marketing, and more over the past 14 years at the DCSEU, Burdick has developed a deep understanding of the program and city’s climate and energy needs. He has also built strong relationships with DCSEU stakeholders, city officials, and the District community that will continue to help the organization deliver meaningful economic and environmental benefits across all eight wards.
As Managing Director, Burdick will continue leading the DCSEU’s strategic direction and long-term goals in support of the organization’s commitment to make energy efficiency and clean energy more accessible to everyone in the District.
