Step 2. Gather Acceptable Proof of Income
IMPORTANT
Use our Proof of Income Lookup below to make sure you know what documents to submit for the types of income you receive to qualify for DCSEU low-to-moderate income programs and services.
*You must submit at least one of the following documents from the category dropdown for each income earner in the household along with a program application to show proof of income for your household. All proof of income verification must be accompanied by a photo ID and social security card for all residents of household. Please note that 1040s and 1099s are only acceptable documents for proof of self-employment income. All other tax documents, including W2s are not acceptable for proof of income.
Step 3. Pick your program & apply
Now that you know what document you can submit to qualify, do you know which program you're applying for? The DCSEU Affordable Home Electrification and Solar for All programs are available to income qualified residents. Follow the instructions on each program page to start your application process.
