The Green Contractor Readiness Initiative is offering free one-on-one technical assistance to DC contractors working in energy, efficiency, and the building trades through September 30, 2026. Each session is built around a live solicitation or a draft response you bring with you. You leave with a strengthened proposal or a reusable template for your service line, a pricing strategy matched to the work you are chasing, and a 90-day plan covering the pools to join, the certifications to file, and the bids to watch.
 

Slots are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including evening slots, and they are first come, first served. There is no cost to participate and no CBE certification requirement. The program is administered by Tawiran in partnership with the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development.
