Where's the Money for BEPS Compliance? Financing Retrofits in DC

Financing is one of the biggest hurdles to scaling retrofits for BEPS compliance. With IRA funding, new incentives are available from the federal government for retrofits. GSA has funding for affordable housing, Fannie Mae has funding or create buildings, and DC has additional resources such as DCSEU incentives and the Green Bank, which could be braided together to make retrofits possible. Attendees will learn about these resources and learn to identify eligible upgrades, and the associated incentives available. We plan to offer this training over two sessions. The responsive feedback on the first session will inform revisions and a second session will be offered. Energy Shrink will collaborate with funding agencies to vet training materials.
