Electrification and Building Operations

With the transition to electrified building systems, operators play a critical role in reducing carbon emissions while maintaining safety and efficiency. This course introduces key concepts related to electrification, including drivers, benefits, barriers, solutions, and key technologies. Participants will learn how electrification affects their responsibilities and gain practical knowledge about maintaining and operating electrified equipment.

Record of Completion:
  • Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on an open-book quiz at the end of the course
  • Attendance Policy: Participants may miss up to 3 hours of instructor-led time but must make up absences by viewing the class recording on the learner portal
     
Special Instructions:
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to enable their audio and webcam for live discussions
  • The course includes interactive group discussions, breakout sessions, and polls
