Intern-al Review: Jourdan Hilton

From DC to NYC: Jourdan is a rising senior at St. John's University pursuing her dream career in International Relations and following her passion in giving back to her community.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Uptown DC and graduated from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School in 2018.

What degree are you currently pursuing and what college are you attending?

I am a rising senior at St. John's University majoring in government and politics with a minor in French.

What would you like to do with your degree?

I would like to work in International Relations in Paris. Being able to combine my love of traveling and my passion would be amazing.

Why did you choose to intern with VEIC/DCSEU?

I chose to intern with VEIC because I love the idea that I am able to help people in my community. In my desired field having experience is important and I feel that VEIC/DCSEU was the best choice.

What are you most excited for during your internships here at VEIC/DCSEU?

I'm excited to learn more about my field and qualifications to help me be the best that I am.

How do you hope to use your experience here in your future pursuits?

I hope to use my experiences to know how to handle the future projects that are in my field and to be success in my future endeavors. 

What is your craziest skill?

I am actually a certified lash technician and a nail artist.
