Community solar provides the benefits of solar to residents who can’t install systems on their home, including renters and homeowners whose rooftops are shaded or need repairs. Through Solar for All, the Department of Energy & Environment develops community solar projects to benefit renters and residents in multi-family buildings. Several organizations are a apart of the DOEE Solar for All community solar initiative. During a few site visits, representatives from the partnering organizations shared their thoughts about community solar and the DOEE's Solar for All program.
