Cory Chimka

Account Manager, Educational Facilities

Cory is the DCSEU’s Account Manager for DC public, charter, and private schools. Prior to joining the DCSEU, he worked for more than 10 years as an award-winning District of Columbia Public School teacher before transitioning to a role with Columbia University focusing on teacher development, followed by scaling up after school programs at DC schools.


Brandon Conheim, PE, CEM, LEED AP

Account Manager, Commercial Real Estate

Brandon is the DCSEU’s Account Manager for Commercial Real Estate.  Prior to joining the DCSEU, Brandon spent over a decade working both with contractors and directly with owners/end-users developing and implementing mechanical HVAC and energy solutions across the DC Metropolitan Region.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in addition to having Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and LEED-AP credentials.


Colton Ellison

Account Manager, Hospitality, Defense, & Federal facilities

Colton is the DCSEU’s Account Manager for hospitality, Department of Defense buildings, and federal facilities. Colton works to support federal building staff and hotels in achieving their energy and operational goals with custom energy efficiency solutions, including facilitation of Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC). Colton joined the DCSEU in 2015 with a communications background from a climate science center in Massachusetts and DC-based non-profit focused on energy efficiency.


Bridget French, LEED AP+

Account Manager, Federal Buildings

Bridget is the DCSEU’s Account Manager for federal facilities and Department of Defense buildings. Bridget can help facilitate rebates and technical assistance for federal energy efficiency projects, including Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC). Before joining DCSEU in 2012, Bridget worked in the green building industry and is accredited in LEED Operations and Maintenance (O+M) and Building Design and Construction (BD+C).


Shannon Gallagher

Account Manager, Hospitals and Medical Facilities

Shannon Gallagher is DCSEU’s Account Manager for DC hospitals and medical facilities. Prior to joining the DCSEU, she worked with the federal government to bolster economic stability internationally. She has also spent time in Tombstone, Arizona, with AmeriCorps, helping to improve food program capacity at the Tombstone Food Bank. 


Leigh Harrold

Account Manager, Retail and Local Businesses

Leigh is a DCSEU account manager for retail and local businesses to help them find energy solutions and rebates. She also handles the retail stores efficient products to make sure all of the rebated lighting and appliances are being regulated. She facilities and maintains the relationship with business and store owners to make sure DCSEU projects with us are correctly handled. Leigh has over 2 years’ experience working in the local business sector with an internet start-up company. 


Spencer Schecht

Account Manager, Colleges and Universities

Spencer is the DCSEU’s Account Manager for colleges and universities. Spencer brings a passion for economic solutions to climate change to the DCSEU. Spencer began his career in climate change mitigation with a consultancy at the Climate Investment Funds at the World Bank.  He soon pivoted from international affairs to contribute to community specific energy efficiency solutions in the District.
