Course Description

In this 90-minute webinar, builders Matt Kulp and Nicole Tysvaer of Symbi Homes will share the key components of their Resilient Remodeling approach which integrates building science and home performance principles within a home renovation project.  Presenters will share case studies, breakdown the most critical energy-efficient upgrades, and discuss cost vs benefits.  The course will highlight pathways for contractors to prepare themselves for increasingly stringent “net-zero” codes across the DC region.  The course will also offer tips for how to market home performance upgrades to homeowners and architects, including information on financial incentives such as federal rebate programs.
