Residential General/Energy Efficiency Contractor RFQ
With this RFQ, the DC SEU is seeking to develop a list of qualified firms—specifically, General and / or Energy Efficiency Contractors in the District of Columbia—who are interested in delivering residential energy efficiency services under the DC Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.
An informational meeting to address comments and questions in general will be held August 8, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the DC Sustainable Energy Utility, 80 M Street, SE, Suite 310, Washington, DC 20003. All questions must be submitted via e-mail with the subject line DCHP RFQ Questions to proposals@dcseu.com. Answers to the questions will be completed within 72 hours and will be posted on the DC SEU website, www.dcseu.com. Questions will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m., August 14, 2012. Answers to all questions received will be posted to the DC SEU website no later than 5:00 p.m., August 15, 2012. Telephone calls, faxes, and / or requests for a solicitation will not be accepted or acknowledged.
Responses to this RFQ must be delivered electronically to the DC SEU by 5:00 p.m. ET on August 16, 2012. Responses submitted after 5:00 p.m. EDT will not be accepted. Solar Services Provider RFQ
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks bids from qualified firms whose principal place of business is in the District of Columbia with expertise in design and installation of solar thermal systems for domestic hot water use for up to 8 eligible low income multifamily properties in the District of Columbia at no cost to the property owner or residents under the Solar Energy Initiative of the DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DC SEU).

Response Submissions

Request for Qualifications for Direct Installation Lighting Retrofit Contractors Reissued
With this RFQ, the DC SEU is seeking interested, multiple General and Electrical Contracting firms with the capacity to complete the work in this RFQ by September 30, 2012 with experience in retrofitting:
- Fluorescent T12 lighting fixtures to high-performance T8 technology and /or
- Direct installation of certain lighting efficiency and hot water conservation measures in apartments of low-income multifamily dwellings through September 30, 2012.

Request for Qualifications for Residential General/Energy Efficiency Contractors
The DC SEU has issued two RFQs to develop a list of qualified, District of Columbia General and / or Energy Efficiency Contractors (G / EECs) who are interested in delivering residential energy efficiency services under the DC Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program of the DC SEU. Contractors are encouraged to apply to one of the RFQs in the above links.
Respondents to RFQ 1 must demonstrate the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform the requirements stated in RFQ 1 and detailed in the Scope of Work. These contractors will be given “Preferred Contractor Status” and will be listed on the DC SEU website.
The intention of RFQ 2 is to develop a list of District-based General and or Energy Efficiency Contractors (G / EECs) who demonstrate a strong desire to deliver residential energy efficiency services under DCHP, but need additional training assistance in becoming fully qualified Home Performance contractors. Once training is completed, contractors may apply to become DCHP Participating Contractors.
The DC SEU expects a large number of responses to these RFQs To review responses efficiently, respondents must follow exactly, and be responsive to, ALL requirements of the RFQs. The deadline for submitting responses to RFQ 1 or RFQ 2 is Friday, April 6, 2012 at 5:00 PM ET.
Request for Qualifications for General/Electrical Contractors
The DC SEU has issued this RFQ to develop a list of qualified Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) firms, General and or Electrical Contractors (G / ECs) willing to deliver retrofit lighting services in a market-based model. All G / ECs must demonstrate the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform the requirements stated in this RFQ and detailed in the Scope of Work. These contractors will be given “Preferred Contractor Status” and will be listed on the DC SEU website.
With this RFQ, the DC SEU is seeking interested G / ECs with experience in retrofitting Fluorescent T12 lighting fixtures to High-Performance T8 technology through September 30, 2012. Work for the Commercial Lighting Energy Efficient Replacement (CLEER) T12 Replacement Program will be performed in the C&I sector in a market-based delivery format. Market-based delivery is defined as the contractual obligation for services rendered to the Customer by the Contractor, not by the DC SEU. Preference will be given to G / ECs that are CBEs in the District of Columbia.
Respondents must follow exactly, and be responsive to, ALL requirements of this RFQ.

Request for Qualifications for Implementation Contractors
The DC SEU is seeking Implementation Contractors (ICs) with experience in weatherization and energy efficiency to begin work during FY 2011 and/or FY 2012. Work will be performed in multifamily and small commercial buildings.
Responses to this RFQ should be delivered in a sealed envelope by mail or in person to DC SEU, c/o Gail Montplaisir at 1325 G Street, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20005 by 5:00 PM EST on July 28, 2011.

Request for Qualifications for Implementation Contractors
The DC SEU is pre-qualifying Implementation Contractors (ICs) to perform work in the fields of Weatherization and Energy Efficiency starting in June 2011 and extending through September 30, 2011. Work will be performed in low-income multifamily buildings, small commercial buildings and single family homes.
Responses to this RFQ should be delivered in a sealed envelope by mail or in person to DC SEU, c/o Gail Montplaisir at 1325 G Street, NW, Suite 518, Washington, DC 20005 by 5:00 PM EST on June 8, 2011.

Request for Qualifications for Network Support Services
The DC SEU seeks to acquire the services of a qualified Washington DC Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) firm and/or a firm located in the Washington DC metropolitan area to serve as our networking and computer services partner. The successful firm will assist us with the initial set up of our new Washington DC based office which is expected to open in late June 2011 and provide ongoing support for our DC area staff, systems, and infrastructure.
