Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractors are specially trained to improve the overall comfort of your home, while maintaining health and safety for you and your family. Rather than focusing on a single problem, contractors look at improvements throughout your home including: air sealing, insulation, heating and cooling, lighting and appliances, indoor air quality, and more.

DC residents living in single-family homes, rowhomes (each unit is ground to sky) or converted (1 to 4 unit) apartments and rowhomes are eligible for the DC Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. Both owner-occupied homes and rental properties with the property owners’ authorization are eligible to participate.
