Low-Income Multifamily (LIMF) Services

The DC SEU is committed to making energy efficiency accessible to all residents of the District of Columbia.  Through a range of energy efficiency initiatives designed specifically for affordable multifamily housing developments—at every stage of their life cycle—the DC SEU delivers the technical assistance, financial incentives, and valuable information needed to help building owners, managers, and residents make energy-efficient choices, lower their energy use, and save money on their energy bills today and in the future.

Low-Income Multifamily Comprehensive Program

The greatest opportunities for cost-effective energy savings present themselves at the time of new construction or major rehabilitation. Incorporating energy efficiency in your affordable housing development during new construction or a substantial rehabilitation means lower up-front costs, long-term affordability for residents, and reducing the impact of energy price volatility on your bottom line.
