Heating and Cooling

Heating and Cooling make up a large part of energy costs for businesses. Today’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment uses significantly less energy to operate than equipment used just a decade ago. Businesses can save money, increase equipment reliability, and create more comfortable and productive workplaces by making energy-efficient choices when installing, renovating, or replacing HVAC equipment. The DC SEU provides standard rebates to District businesses for installing a wide range of new, energy-efficient HVAC equipment.

Projects with an estimated incentive greater than $5,000* or with a fixture count of more than 100  are not eligible for Business Energy Rebates and will be forwarded to the Commercial and Institutional Custom program for consideration.
